How to use
- Dilute 1 part Vandax in 100 parts potable water for food-contact surfaces
- For high-risk zones (conveyor belts, carcass rails), use 1:50 dilution
- Apply evenly using clean cloth, spray or foam applicator
- Maintain 2-minute contact time before air-drying
- For heavily soiled surfaces: alkaline clean first, then sanitise with Vandax

Frequently asked questions
Does Vandax need rinsing after application?
At 1:100 dilution Vandax is a no-rinse sanitiser per FSSAI Schedule 4. At 1:50 on CCP surfaces, rinse with potable water after contact time as per your HACCP plan.
Is Vandax compatible with stainless steel?
Yes. Vandax is specifically formulated to be non-corrosive on 304 and 316 grade SS at use-dilution. Approved for pasteuriser exteriors, filling machines and conveyor belts.
Can Vandax be used in CIP systems?
Vandax is designed for open-plant spray-and-wipe sanitation. For CIP circuits Clissal recommends CIP AC1 paired with an alkaline CIP detergent for the wash step.
